Donnie Chappell Takes First-Career, UDLMCS at Volusia

BARBERVILLE, Florida (December 5) – Donnie Chappell scored the first United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS) victory of his career on Saturday night by taking the $3,000 top prize at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) as the tour brought the 2015 season to a close.

Chappell capitalized on the outside-front-row, starting spot for the feature to race to the lead and ultimately the victory at the 1/2 mile oval. Jack Nosbisch Jr., Jeff Mathews, Bo Allen, and Dillon Wood completed the top five finishers.

Donnie Chappell registered the fastest lap of the 19 entries on hand during qualifying with a 18.593 second time.

Kyle Bronson claimed the UDLMCS title by entering the event.
