Jake Teague Collects UCRA 2015 Championship at Luncheonby Steve Hixson
Chattanooga, TN (January 18) - Petros, Tennessee racer Jake Teague, 24, picked up the lions share of the United Crate Racing Alliance 2015 Points Championship Saturday at a luncheon for the Top -15 racers that follow the touring series it's inaugural season. Despite not visiting victory lane, the driver of the # 117 "C&C Trucking, Wades Construction" Longhorn racecar, corralled five (5) runner-up finishes, three (3) third place finishes, a single fifth place finish and two (2) other Top-10 finishes to secure the $5,000 payday. Out of the 11 races scheduled, the UCRA series averaged thirty-seven (37) race teams at all events in 2015 with, seventeen (17) following every event. Several new racetracks are coming on-board with the UCRA in 2016 as the rules and the schedule are being worked out by series co-founders Marvin Ford and David Earl Gentry. The
