Brandon Kinzer and Kinzer Motorsports Starts Prepping for BJ Parker Memorial

ALLEN, KENTUCKY (June 2) - The Kinzer Motorsports team trekked south to Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Friday evening, May 27 to enter their lone event over the busy Memorial Day holiday weekend. The Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour invaded the Chattanooga-area venue and a $4,000 winner's check was up for grabs.

Brandon Kinzer laid down the seventh quickest time in his group during the qualifying session and later ran second in his consolation event behind only prelim winner Dale McDowell. After starting the 40-lap main event from the outside of the fifth row, passing was at a premium throughout the distance and BK eventually wound up slipping back to twelfth at the checkers. Complete results from Boyd's Speedway can be found online by clicking on www.southernnationalsseries.com.

The #18 team has elected to take the upcoming June 3-4 weekend off from racing competition. Plans call for them to return to action on Saturday, June 11 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) will preside over the annual running of the 'BJ Parker Memorial' at TST and a $4,200 top prize will be on the line. Additional information on this single day show can be accessed by pointing your Internet browser to www.sasdirt.com.
