CROOKSVILLE, Ohio (July 6) - Donnie Moran of Dresden, OH captured the $7,000 event prize in route to his second Independent Racing Series win of the season at the Midway Speedway in Crooksville, OH on Sunday Night July 6, 2008 in front of a packed hillside.

Moran came to victory lane while driving the Custom Cutters, C&J Excavating, Eddie's Sunoco, and Donnie Moran Driving School sponsored Draime powered MasterSbilt Race Car to his second-career Independent Racing Series win.

Moran took the lead from Duane Chamberlain on the 28th circuit to go on to win the annual 'Jim Dunn Memorial' event.

A total of seven yellow flags halted the main event. Five different drivers lead the main event.
