Steve Reeck LEBANON, Ore. (July 31) - Jason Wines took the lead from the green flag until slowed on lap 23 for the first caution when Brandon Biffle driving his dad's late model tagged the fence ending the night for the Biffle Motorsports #60 entry.
Joey Tanner running 2nd, Jerry Schram 3rd, followed by Brett James, Brady Sell, Jimmy Schram, Russ Sell, Workman Jr, Boyd, Walters, and Steve Moore.
As the field was taking the green flag on the restart contact between Russ Sell, Bob Boyd, Steve Moore and Britton Danahoo in turns 3 & 4 brought out a second caution flag, Danahoo suffered the worst damage and was towed to the pits, he would return later several laps down.
A quick third caution flew when Steve Suckow and Brittany Ray get together in turns 1 & 2, both continued.
Jason Wines would restart the field continuing to lead, running low line Wines had young Joey Tanner pressuring him on the outside, Jerry Schram and Bob Boyd continuing to battle back for the third and fourth positions.
The fourth caution flag flew for Ronnie Saner who spun high in turn 4, Jack Marontate with no place to go t-boned the stalled Saner's car, Marontate damaged car was towed to the pits, Saner continued and restarted from the rear.
Just a couple of laps later the field was red flagged when Brittany Ray and Brett McCutcheon tangle on the backstretch, Ray's her car suffered heavy damage after backing into the concrete filled tire barriers ending her night.
Jason Wines still the leader with Tanner in 2nd, followed by Bob Boyd, Jerry Schram and Brady Sell.
Again leading for several laps Jason Wines finally lost the lead to Russ Sell, Sell would lead for just a few laps before Joey Tanner challenged and pasted Sell, the two went back and forth before the 5th caution flag slowed the action after points leader Greg Walters tagged the inside tire barriers, Walters attempted to limp his damaged Chevrolet back to the pits but ended up stopped on the track. Sell out front before the caution flag with Joey Tanner 2nd followed by Jason Wines, Bob Boyd, Jerry Schram, Billy Workman Jr, Brady Sell, Doug Trout.
Another quick caution for debris in turns 3 & 4 and then a last caution with 10 laps remaining when Bob Trout spun on the backstretch just after taking the restart.
Russ Sell would remain the leader for the final 40 laps picking up a $1,000.00 for the win, his second DAA NW spec motor series win of the 2010 season. Bob Boyd and Joey Tanner would continue to battle for second to the flag with Joey finishing 2nd, Bob Boyd 3rd Billy Workman Jr 4th, Brady Sell 5th.
Russ Sell just came off a huge win a week ago at Willamette Speedway winning the July 24th super late model first annual Clair Arnold Memorial which paid $5,000.
Russ Sell is the owner of leftcoastmotorsports.com racecar parts outlet and for years has driven Charlie Swartz chassis's.
The series next race is Saturday August 7th at Sunset Speedway Park for the $2,000 to win second annual Doug Walters Memorial 67 lap T&G Thriller.
