PERRIS, Calif. (March 31) - When the PASSCAR racing series return's to Don Kazarian's famous Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday night, April 5th, fans will get two extra main events at no extra charge. In addition to the regularly scheduled main event for the Extreme Late Models, MC Builders Super Stocks, PASSCAR Street Stocks and the Pick-A-Part Factory Stocks, the Super Stocks and Street Stocks will have each an extra main event to make up for the races rained out three weeks ago. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing at 6:30.

"We hated to see the mains rained out three weeks ago, but it just started to rain to hard," Kazarian said. "We got to the 23rd lap of the Late Model main and the heavens unloaded and soaked the track. It was unsafe to race after that point. This weekend we will make up the rained out main events for the Street Stocks and MC Builders Super Stocks and on April 19th, we will make up the main for the Pick-A-Part Factory Stocks."

Murrieta's Jeff Dunham, who is planning on staying closer to home and running for the PAS championship after racing with the Western All Stars last year, won the last Extreme Late Model main event at The PAS three weeks ago. While the dismal weather held the crowd down, those who were there saw one of the best main events in the track's 13 season history. "That main event was wild. It was one of the best main events ever staged at The PAS and I am talking all divisions," Kazarian said.

Dunham won the rain shortened (by two laps) main after a hard fought battle with Bakersfield's Zack Forster. Veteran Ron Meyer of Anaheim Hills, Hawthorne's Ron Bartels and emerging talent Johnny "Lightning" Malcolm of Riverside rounded out the top five.

Saturday's motorized version of mixed martial arts will begin with the rained out main events for the Super Stocks and Street Stocks and will be followed by the regular program, which will feature heats and main events for all of the divisions.
