Parker Takes Home Hobby Stock Shootout Win!

OUTLAW MOTOR SPEEDWAY, 8 Miles South of Muskogee, Oklahoma & 11 Miles North of I-40 on HWY 69 -  Stilwell's Brain Parker can now etch his name in Outlaw Motor Speedway history. Parker took the pole position of the Hobby Stock Shootout 30 lap race, then outdeuled the field on his way to the $2,000 payout while leading all 30 laps.

Another Stilwell native, Terry Muskrat pulled in second as 2006 Hobby Stock points champion Muskogee's Dale Richardson finished third.

Although Parker led every lap it was a caution on lap 27 that looked like the leader would have to work overtime for the win. On the restart Richardson gained a nice run but Checotah's Aaron Barker and Muskrat sandwiched Richardson and allowed Parker to throttle to a five car lead.

All three drivers made saves to stay in the race but Parker was already figuring ways to spend his new bounty.

Bixby's Greg Skaggs snuck past Tahlequah's Kreg Dobson on lap 11 and never looked back as he picked up his fourth Modified A-Feature win of the season.

Muskogee's Tate Cole and Mike "Fuzzy" Withrow pulled in third and fourth respectively.

Fort Gibson's Terry Cook blew past George Cameron on lap six, then led the remaining nine laps for his seventh Pure Stock A-Feature win of the 2006 season.

Oktaha's Gene Whittle tried to put pressure but had to settle for second as Checotah's Brandon Fields took third.

Haskell's Danny Womack took the lead on the opening lap and walked away with his seventh Economy Modified A-Feature win of the 2006 season.

Muskogee's David Howell pulled in second with David Whittle third.
