I took sponge bob for a ride this weekend on my race car, and I have to say it was the most fun I think I have ever had in my entire racing courier,  
I took the car out at intermission on the front straight so all the kids could see the car up-close , and I could not believe the reaction I got from all the kids while I was handing out candy to them threw the fence,

A lot of people asked me! Why sponge bob? And I have to say, I have always done my cars the way I wanted them to look, so this time I wanted to do something for all the kids to relate to, and I’ll have to tell you  I think a lot of the kids Saturday night will remember the sponge bob car for a long time!

After the races were over a lot of the kids came down to see the car, and I will have to tell you it really put a smile on my face to see how much the kids really enjoyed seeing the car,   two young ladies even came up to me and asked if the could do a special sponge bob cheer for me,
I have signed a lot of autographs and tie shirts but I don’t ever think I well ever forget there little song bob cheer! Loll!!

No didn’t get any pics of the cheer!  But I thought it was pretty cool, and pretty darn brave of them to do it!

The track was gone; slick from top to bottom, but my car was hooked up! I had a real good run for second with Jimmy Reeves and Brad Pounds, but I ended up third , I wanted to fight harder but I had to remember that I am also running second in points to Jimmy Reeves, so I had to be smart and not loose the car at the end,    There were 18 cars Saturday night at sms.
