I know I will be in lower divisions at least a couple more years unless I suddenly figureout this go fast turn left business. Looking at the pictures you had quite a ride but walked away unhurt.

Reply #90 - 09/24/06 at 3:55pm That actually was just caused by me overdriving- a single car accident, but that "whip of death" deal the mods are known for hurts a lot of cars. Once a guy gets comfortable in them you usually don't notice it anymore.

I'm not trying to be negitive. I'm alway think on a more bigger picture for the other guy's that would Like to get in to racing. but don't have all the money or the resources too.

I'm Only Giving my Thoughts. If My Driver could race more this yr we would have been right there with the rest of the racers.. Not Our Fault We couldn't Race more. Family and Business Come first.
When the Calif SS thing was going on I talked Him into Racing it. We ran our asses off Doing it. AND HAD FUN DOING IT.......

Key Word FUN
We raced the DR Race and Had Fun too.
The point it does matter how much we race. We always go to have fun

Get off the We didn't race all yr I've said Why already and if you dont know by now why and dont understand why then Your just a Paycheck person and won't understand it...

During the week I pay to ride go karts. they don't pay any money or points and I get off my kart laughing every trip. But I've got to tell you, it doesn't give me my speed fix.

Actually dave, isnt it nice not having to have 2 sets of tires? There is NO WAY that a soft tire could have lasted in the bottoms up race. Ask 3d about that as he had to pull off on lap 50 to change burned up meds. I would like to see a move to a hoosier hard if the have it. If the ss were in still on the soft compounds the cars would be in the 15.xxx at sms. When we ran a hard hoosier compound back in the day you couldn't wear those out EVER. They really didnt even take to softener very good. Either way, one tire rule, one rule book.

Bad example on the 100, Chris would have burnt up a med by lap 75.

Wonder how the new/ occasional SS racer would like the headline, " New tire rules again for SS, Hards required".

Find a tire that costs $60 and you will get twice the use from it.

BTW in the past I would have bought 1 med for the 100 for on the RR. And if there was enough left ran it at Bako on a dry nite to finish it.
