Perris Auto Speedway hosts Amsoil PASSCAR Pursuit Finale this Saturday

PERRIS, CA (November 3) - Perris Auto Speedway will bring the curtain down on the 2015 stock car regular season this Saturday night, November 7th, when it hosts the Amsoil PASSCAR Pursuit Finale.  The Street Stocks, Super Stocks, Modifieds and American Factory Stocks will all be in action and will all crown 2015 champions.  Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM with the first race at 7:00.

Just as NASCAR does in its final race of the season, the highest placing championship qualified driver will win the title in the Street Stocks, Super Stocks and American Factory Stocks on Saturday night.  The Modified champion will be determined by season long points.

The qualified drivers in the Street, Super and Factory Stocks are drivers who won main events earlier this year or who are top points drivers.  The eligible drivers (8 in the Street Stocks 7 in the Supers and 6 in the Factories) are as follows:

Street Stocks
Blaine Whitson (Temecula)
Luke Dodd (Riverside)
Casey MacDonald (Riverside)
Chris Leventis (Rancho Palos Verdes)
Eddie Gurwell (Riverside)
Henry Wesoloski (Temecula)
Curtis Dietzsch (Riverside)
Stefan Davies (Murrieta)

Super Stocks
Mike Lerwell (El Cajon)
Dennis Wooldridge (Riverside)
Eric Ferguson (El Cajon)
Ricky Lee (Beaumont)
Andy Moreton (Victorville)
Blaine Whitson (Temecula)
Danny Webster (Cherry Valley)

American Factory Stocks
Todd Fassler (El Cajon)
Kris Carnish (Murrieta)
Mike Burks (Nuevo)
Tom Gillum (Riverside)
James Altman Jr. (Lake Elsinore)
Jeff Elder (Redlands)

The qualified drivers qualified into the championships will not have to contest heats races on Saturday and will start at the front of their respective main events.  Main events in for the Street Stocks, Super Stocks and American Factory Stocks will be 30-laps.

In the Modifieds, Riverside’s Dave Clark has a bulging 33-point lead over track IMCA Modified champion Kevin Hocking of Huntington Beach.  San Diego’s Chris Wilder is third, but has been mathematically eliminated from winning the crown.  J.R. Stout of Riverside and Wildomar’s Dale Armstrong round out the top five.
