Fire, EMS and Police Night Friday May 28Silver Cup Previews this weekend and next!
SARVER, PA (May 27, 2010) This Friday May 28 is another Fast Friday of Fab Four Racing as we pay tribute to the brave men and women whom so bravely protect our communities on Fire, EMS and Police Night. Adult general admission is discounted to $7 for those with proper service identification.
Ed Lynch Jr. (Ti22 Performance DIRTcar Sprints), Dave Hess Jr. (DIRTcar Late Models), Kevin Bolland (Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Modifieds) and Joe Kelley (Charapp Route 28 DIRTcar Modifieds) are current Budweiser Points Leaders in their respective divisions!
Last weekend’s feature winners Dale Blaney (Ti22 Sprints) and Chub Frank (DIRTcar Lates) are expected to hit the road with the World of Outlaws this weekend. But “Double Duty” Dave Murdick (Diehl Mods) will look to repeat last weekend’s feature win, while “Super” Joe Kelley (Charapp 28 Sportsman) will be looking to win his fourth straight feature. This time Kelley will have to win from the back row per Lernerville Speedway rules that dictate that a three-time consecutive feature winner must start last on the starting grid!
Dave Hess Jr. and Del Rougeux Jr. lead the National Guard Heat Race Challenge with three heat races wins each. There is a 10-way tie for second between Rod George, Bob Felmlee, Jack Sodeman Jr., Dale Blaney, Danny Holtgraver, Kevin Bolland, Shawn Thorn, Joe Kelley, Russell King and Gregg Satterlee; each having checkered two heat races. Speaking of Gregg Satterlee, “The Truth” has been randomly selected by a fan each of the past two weeks as the National Guard Heat Race Challenger of the Night; pocketing an extra $50 each week. 21 drivers have won one heat race this season.
With the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XIX Twin 30s less than two months away, Western PA Sprint Car fans are in for a big treat this weekend and next as the World of Outlaws and All Star Circuit of Champions will offer a sneak preview of the mid-summer Mega Event scheduled for Tuesday July 20.
This Sunday, May 30 the Outlaws make their debut at Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, PA. Then the All Stars roll into Sarvertown next Friday, June 4 for a $5,000-to-win clash with the Lernerville Locals. Ed Lynch Jr., Rod George and Bob Felmlee are poised to defend their home turf(s) against the best sprint car drivers in the country!
A ticket exchange program this weekend will net two Lernerville fans a free ticket to the World of Outlaws show at Tri-City Speedway, while two Tri-City fans will win a free ticket to the All Star show at Lernerville Speedway.
