Ross Camponovo Claims Fourth Win of 2010 at Greenville Speedway

Clarksdale, Mississippi (10/06/10) – Ross Camponovo powered his #18 Camponovo Farms/Rocket/RPM Racing Engine Super Late Model to his fourth feature win of 2010 in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday night.

With his family business being extremely busy, Ross has not had much time to race over the past month, but he made the last minute decision to race on Saturday night, and it turned out to be a wise use of his time as he claimed the Super Late Model feature win, which was his fourth triumph of the 2010 season. In time trials, Ross qualified third fastest to earn the third starting spot for the feature event. In the feature he would battle his way to the front of the pack early in the event, and once at the front would take a convincing win over Greg Fore and Bo Gordon.

This Saturday, October 9th RC Motorsports will be back in action at Greenville Speedway as the facility hosts the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS). The event will be highlighted by a 50 lap, $2,500 to win feature as Camponovo chases the biggest win of his young career.
