Trick or Treat 100 at Ponderosa Speedway/Lake Cumberland Speedway Reset for November 5, November 6Junction City, KY/Burnside, KY-October 20, 2010- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Donnie Sullivan and Lake Cumberland Speedway Brandon Hardgrove would like to announce a date change for the upcoming Trick or Treat 100 weekend that was originally set to take place on October 29 and October 30.
The new dates for the Trick or Treat 100 weekend will now be on Friday November 5 at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY and Saturday November 6 at Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY.
Known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring”, Ponderosa Speedway will present night one of the Trick or Treat 100 weekend on Friday November 5. The racing program will feature Super Late Models in action for $3,000 to win, while UMP Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win. The UMP Sportsman division will race for $300 to win, with the Street Stock division in competition for $150 to win. Ticket prices on November 5 at Ponderosa Speedway in the general admission area will be $20 for adults, while all children ages 10 and under will be admitted free with a paid adult. A pit pass will be $35. There will also be $100 awarded for the best Halloween costume and racers will pass out candy to the children on the frontchute prior to the races getting underway.
Known as “The House of Hardcore Mayhem”, Lake Cumberland Speedway will present the second night of the Trick or Treat 100 weekend on Saturday November 6. The racing program will feature Super Late Models racing for $3,000 to win, with Open Wheel Modifieds in action for $1,000 to win. The Super Dirt Stock division will compete for $300, while the Frontrunners will round out the race card for $100 to win. Ticket prices on November 6 at Lake Cumberland Speedway in the general admission area will be $20 for adults, while all children ages 10 and under admitted free with a paid adult. A pit pass will be $35. There will be $100 awarded for the best Halloween costume and racers will pass out candy to the children on the frontchute prior the racing program getting started.
Ponderosa Speedway will be closed until it presents night one of the Trick or Treat 100 weekend on Friday November 5. Lake Cumberland Speedway will be in action on Saturday October 23, but will now be off on Saturday October 30.
