NO RAIN!!! ROUND #2 CLEVELAND SPEEDWAY WEEKLY RACING SATURDAY APRIL 2ND

Cleveland, TN (3/31/11) -- Two weeks ago the Cleveland (TN) Speedway opened up the new 2011 Weekly Racing Program and drew a stout field of 29 Late Models. Many raceteams are planning on returning this Saturday night for Round #2, looking to take the top prize for the 30 lap LM feature. Jake Knowles and Lamar Scoggins battled it out on and off track, two weeks ago, as post race protests tore down both the top finishers engines after the checkers waved. All were found legal. Five (5) regular competing divisions are slated this Saturday, besides Late Models topping the card of action, Limiteds, Hobby, Pony and FWD divisions will all see action with heat races preceeding the features. Gates are slated to open at 4PM EST, Saturday afternoon, with hot lap practice beginning about 7PM after the 6:30PM Drivers Meeting.
