WELSHAN GIVES B.B. KYLE CAREER 1st VICTORY at SPRING CITY (TN) RACEWAY

Spring City, Tennessee (6/18/11) --- Jason Welshan (# 114) of Maryville, Tennessee gave B.B. Kyle her first win as car-owner Saturday night in the Limited Late Model division at Spring City Raceway in Tennessee. With rainouts galore wiping out most on-track action around the state early Saturday, the Brianna Kyle (15yo.) owned team decided to head East of Watts Bar Dam to compete at the ultra-quick bull ring off Hwy. 27. The # 114 "Larry Kyle Trucking, ALOT LESS Factory Outlet, Jon's Golfcarts, Advantage Check Cashing, Ronald Sexton Construction Co, Smith's Auto Sales and Centerline Construction, B&M Concrete - Miles 411 Family Restaurant, Stealth Carburators - Shorty's Shock Service, Bearden Oil" sponsored GRT chassis / 602 GM Performance Crate racer led from start to finish for his 1st Spring City Raceway victory of 2011. "We just loaded up her racecar at the last minute and headed for Spring City, figuring we'd get wet" stated Welshan Sunday, relaxing on Father's Day with his daughter Emily. "That was a unique opportunity and alot of fun. It was like going back in time to the way racin' was back in the 80's." The Team-Kyle GREEN-MACHINE (# 29) and (# 129) will be pulling double-duty this Friday night readying for the STARS Volunteer Racing series and Crate LM races at Boyd's. Welshan just officially took the points lead in the division (according to www.speednetdirect.com) for the 2011 season and is seeking his 8th win.
