CARTERSVILLE, GA – Week 5 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series action saw Chase Washington of Houlka, MS pick up two wins in the Jerry Inmon Racing Special and Tony Lawson of Laurel, MS use Bonus Points to grab the lead in the series point standings driving the Lawson Construction Special.

Washington took his first win of the weekend by topping a 17-car field at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS.  Washington followed that up with a win over an 18-car field on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS.  Washington has competed in four of the five weeks of NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series competition and now has four wins.
