Carolina Clash Tire Samples Cleared; I-77 Speedway Results Made Official Saturday

Carolina Clash series president Larry Lee stated Saturday that all tire samples from the July 14th event at I-77 Speedway have been cleared and were found to be conforming to American Racer benchmarks. "They let me know late yesterday afternoon and everything looked good," Lee said Saturday.

He also indicated those two races - #7 on August 11, 2012 and the season finale on October 27, 2012 - at 311 Motor Speedway remain on the schedule. Larry Lee, Steve Stultz and Randy Joyce met on Wednesday at 311 Motor Speedway and finalized the details of the races.

"We are very excited with Carolina Clash to work along with the new promoters. After meeting with them on Wednesday, we are very happy to announce that our race planned for August 11, 2012 will be run as scheduled. We are also very excited to return again on Saturday, October 27, 2012 for the season finale of the Carolina Clash 2012 season, when we will crown our $10,000 point champion of the JE Pistons and Roush-Yates Performance Products Chase for the Championship!" Larry Lee said Saturday.

311 Motor Speedway is located at 4390 US Hwy. 311 in Pine Hall, NC. The track phone is (336) 427-2787 and will be returning to action this Saturday, July 21 under the new promotion of Steve and Blake Stultz. Also, returning to the announcer's booth at 311 will be legendary Mr. Randy Joyce, who can be seen patrolling pit road for driver and team information before the race!
