Wheeler, Gregory, McMullin, and Adams Winners at Lake Cumberland Speedway

Burnside, KY (July 20)- It was American Red Cross Benefit night at Lake Cumberland Speedway on Saturday evening and feature event winners included Johnny Wheeler of Campbellsville, KY in Super Late Models, Tommy Gregory of Monticello, KY in Modifieds, Tim McMullin of Bronston, KY in Sportsman/Road Hogs, and Johnnie Adams of Somerset, KY in Four Cylinders.

Two-time and defending Super Late Model track champion Johnny Wheeler would show the way in the 25 lap Super Late Model main event and pick up his first win of the season at LCS in the Louis and Phyllis Brady owned #31x Bandit Race Car powered by a Dale Meers Race Engine.  Rod Carter, Jr. would take second place at the finish, while Steve Elliott would drive home in third position.  Ben Petrey and P.J. Feistritzer would complete the first five in the final rundown.  The remainder of the top ten would be Chris Ruble, Clint Vaughn, Matt Henderson, Dennis Barton, and Mike Strunk.  Heat race wins fell to Wheeler and Ruble.

Tommy Gregory would pick up another win in Modified action at Lake Cumberland on Saturday evening by pulling his #44 Lightning Chassis mount into victory once again.  Gregory would take the win over Stacy Decker, Brian Clements, Keith Denny, and Tim Patrick.  Patrick would win the heat.

Tim McMullin would pick up his second straight Sportsman/Road Hog feature win of the season in his #M17 mount.  Doyle Hibbard would take second place, followed by Sara Patrick and #57.  McMullin also won the heat.

Johnnie Adams would score his first Four Cylinder win of the year aboard his #7 machine and would capture that win over Charles Burton, Justin Ball, and #1.  Adams also won the heat.
