Rod Conley Ends Season for Conley Motorsports, Inc. at Florence Speedway
 
WHEELERSBURG, OH (October 30) - Rod Conley and his #71r team wrapped up the 2015 racing season for Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) on October 23-25 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The two-day 'Fall 50' was held over the weekend at the undersized 1/2-mile facility and things kicked off on Friday night with a $2,000 to win program. Rod ran third in heat race action, which lined him up starting the main event from the inside of the seventh row. "Hot Rod" then worked his way past three competitors during the feature to score a solid tenth place performance.
 
Following a rain-out on Saturday at the Cincinnati-area speedplant, the 'Fall 50' finale was pushed back to Sunday afternoon and a $5,000 top prize was on the line. Rod transferred into the 50-lap headliner by grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through the B-Main. Unfortunately, an opening lap tangle in the 'Fall 50' relegated the Wheelersburg, Ohio ace to a disappointing twenty-fourth place effort in his season finale. With the 2015 campaign now looking like it's complete, the Conley's can look back on what was a strong season for all four drivers. They racked up sixteen feature wins during the year with Delmas Conley leading the charge with six triumphs. Rod and R.J. Conley were close behind with five victories each. In addition, Rod also parlayed an impressive season at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio into a Track Championship.
