UCRA 2015 Point Championship Awards Presentation pays out $15,000

CHATTANOOGA, TN (December 30) - The 2015 United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) Champion and Top 15 in points will be honored Saturday afternoon in a informal luncheon in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 16th. Jake Teague of Petros, Tennessee will pick up the lions share of the nearly $15,000 payout. The "Jakeman" who's 24 years old, drives the # 117 "C&C Trucking, Wades Construction" Longhorn racecar, went without a trip to Victory Lane in UCRA competition in 2015, but the fact that 10 out of 12 races he finished in the Top 5 netted himself enough points to stay ahead of eighteen (18) other race teams that vied for the Championship all season. Behind Teague in points were Tiger, Georgia's Ethan Hunter (whom also nabbed Cleveland Speedway Dirt Cup 2015 Track Championship) and fellow East Tennessee racer "The Dirty White Boy" himself Anthony White of Clinton. The Top 15 in points earned a share of the almost $15,000 points fund and will receive their points money 1PM EST Saturday (01/16/2016) afternoon at a casual attired luncheon at Golden Coral restaurant (1808 Gunbarrel Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421) down from Hamilton Place Mall in from of the Target store. Lunch Buffet is estimated at $15 per person and each is responsible for paying for their meal and drink. A Track Owners Meeting will take place at 12PM prior to the Awards Banquet Luncheon to discuss the 2016 season. Most of the tracks from the inaugural 2015 season are expected to be returning along with an estimated 4-6 new facilities ranging from; Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina.
