Bub McCool To Debut New Look This Weekend at World 100

by Ben Shelton
Vicksburg, MS (09/07/11) – Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitor, Bub McCool, will enjoy a weekend away from the tour as he debuts a special graphics scheme on his #57J McCool Logging/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model this weekend at the 41st Annual World 100.

When Bub goes into battle in this weekend's 41st Annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) he will have a sharp new graphic's package on his familiar #57J entry as he enters the Best Appearing Car contest. New shirts to match the wicked new look will be available starting this weekend at the team's hauler, and can already be viewed and ordered online at www.BubMcCool.com .

This weekend's biggest Dirt Late Model race of the year will pay $44,000 to the winner of the 100 lap affair. Festivities get underway on Friday night with two rounds of qualifying plus a non-qualifiers race. On Saturday night heat races, consolation races, and the finale will be held at the famed, 1/2 mile oval. For more information, please visit www.EldoraSpeedway.com .

Last weekend Bub entered a pair of Super Late Model events in Ohio. Since the team was already in the Ohio area for the weekend's upcoming Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tour events Bub entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) on Friday night in a Chad Stapleton backup car. Nineteen cars entered the event, and after winning his heat race from the second starting spot, Bub started on the pole for the feature event with good friend, Chad Stapleton, starting to his outside. The duo would battle for the lead for the duration of the event before Stapleton claimed the win over McCool. Full results are available at www.MolerRacewayPark.com.

Bub was back in action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday night at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) in a $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event. Fifty-one cars were on hand for the race, and on the heels of finishing third in the first heat race, McCool locked into the ninth starting spot for the main event. For the majority of the event Bub would race around the lower half of the top ten before crossing the finish line in the eleventh position.

After seeing the 43rd Annual Hillbilly at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) delayed from Sunday to Monday to rain, the event would be completedly nixed on Monday as rain continued to fall.

Bub also has brand new apparel available for purchase as well as clearance items. Visit the Merch page at www.BubMcCool.com for more information.

The Bub McCool Fan Club has been relaunched. Each month a lucky member of the fan club will receive a free Bub McCool t-shirt For more information, please visit www.BubMcCool.com .
